Well folks. It’s almost here. Seven days away from the 2018 midterm elections. And frankly, the stakes could not be higher.
Last week I wrote about how the Democrat party was becoming a Third World political party. They continue to prove my point. Indeed, the collective left has once again stooped to a level once unimaginable.
By now, we are used to toady leftists calling Republicans and President Trump Hitler, Nazis, and the KKK. We are calloused against it, but these dehumanizing, outrageous, and patently untrue epithets hurled at us still hurt. And the left knows it. They are desperately trying to shut up President Trump and his supporters once and for all.
This past Saturday, a vile, virulent, hateful anti-Semitic murdering psychopath named Robert Bowers opened fire on a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Eleven people were killed and several wounded. These innocent victims were celebrating a baby naming ceremony. A baby naming ceremony!
Immediately, the media and Democrats began blaming President Trump for Bowers’ action. Never mind the fact that on the killer’s social media he repeatedly and specifically reiterated his hated of Trump. In fact, he thought Trump was doing the bidding of Jews and Israel!
President Trump has done more for the Jewish state of Israel and Jews around the world than any other president. He has a religious Jewish daughter and ethnically and religiously Jewish son-in-law and grandchildren. He is the only president to have prayed at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. He fulfilled the promise made by several past presidents to move our embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He has said in no uncertain terms that those who seek to destroy the Jewish people will THEMSELVES be destroyed.
It didn’t matter to the media.
They immediately piled on the president with Hitler references and white supremacy claims. One millennial twit on CNN actually said President Trump was radicalizing more people than ISIS!
Never mind the fact that their sniveling hero Barack Obama invited anti-Semite Al Sharpton to the White House 100 times. Never mind that for years and years Obama gleefully “worshipped” at anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church. Never mind that Obama actively worked with members of the Muslim Brotherhood in his own administration. Never mind the smiling picture he took with rabid Jew and America hater Louis Farrakhan the media buried for eight years.
Where on earth was the media then?
These destructive, Third World tactics have now been normalized buy the left. Instead of debating ideas, the left castigates conservatives as evil and therefore fair game to destroy at any time, for any reason.
Look what the left did to Megyn Kelly! I am no special pleader for Megyn, and in fact, I thought her leaving Fox was a ridiculous decision. She simply got too big for her britches. People were not tuning into Megyn Kelly — they were tuning into thattimesloton Fox News. She learned that the hard way.
But what Megyn Kelly said was not offensive in the least. IN. THE. LEAST.
All she said was that when she was growing up, dressing up as someone of a different race (or “blackface”) wasn’t considered racist. And it’s not — unless it’s done in a denigrating, derogatory way. People dress up as all kinds of different people for Halloween! Lester Holt dressed up as the British white lady singer Susan Boyle. Hoda Kotb dressed up as the white country star Blake Shelton. Eddie Murphy dressed as an old Jewish white man in “Coming to America.” The list goes on.
And just last weekend, Hillary Clinton made an offhand remark about how “they all look alike” when referring to black people. She was talking about Cory Booker and Eric Holder—and the liberal audience at the 92ndStreet YMCA howled with laughter. Bill Clinton once famously said during the 2008 primary that just a few years ago, Barack Obama would be “bringing us coffee.” And yet,nothing happened to them.
The left’s double standard is remarkable.
I think that’s part of what is alarming so many Americans: how easily the left will destroy a life if someone says just one offhanded comment that does not one hundred percent conform to leftist dogma. And the problem is, of course, is that leftists make the rules, because leftism IS the status quo. They feel justified in destroying conservatives, because in their minds we are evil.
Yes: wanting lower taxes, smaller government, a secure border, strong foreign policy, an end to illegal immigration, deregulation of industries, sane environmental policies, a pro-Israel and anti-radical Islamic mindset, a nationalist belief in America First — that’s considered Wrongthink by our leftist masters.
In Third World countries, the tactics the left are using today would be very familiar.
Shooting up opponents’ headquarters.
Almost murdering political enemies practicing for a charity baseball game — and the media blatantly ignoring the far left political motivation of the shooter.
Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioting, destroying property, burning American flags, and violently threatening and intimidating those with whom they disagree.
Unhinged leftists chasing administration officials and other conservatives out of public restaurants and movie theaters.
The media and Democrats refusing to accept the outcome of elections.
Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and other arrogant narcissists refusing to leave the stage after they lose elections or have left office.
For example, look at Barack Obama. Obama—an egomaniac of the highest order– is arguably the worst president in American history. His eight year record of division, destruction, economic malaise, and worldwide loss of American stature proves my point. Forget the braindead, fawning adulation by Hollywood and the media. This man still runs his mouth about President Trump as often as he can. He degrades his fellow Americans and calls us racists for wanting to stop an illegal alien invasion on our southern border.
The problem isn’t just Obama — it’s all of them.
All of these tactics are being employed by leftists in America today.And according to our media, conservatives are just supposed to sit back, take the abuse, watch our lives be destroyed, and do nothing to fight back. Not anymore.
The media has completely lost their minds, and so to have elected Democrats and the rabble-rousing mob they encourage.
Conservatives don’t believe in violently defeating our political enemies. We believe in the battle of ideas and philosophy — and may the best side win. The simple fact of the matter is Democrats do not have any positive ideas that would ever win popular election. Not a one! Therefore, they depend on fear tactics, intimidation, bullying, and threats of life obliteration if you disagree with them.
I have to believe the majority of Normal America sees these ugly, Third World tactics for what they are and will not allow them to electorally stand.
It’s going to get worse before it gets better. Conservatives believe the best way to defeat these mentally deranged Democrats is at the ballot box. If there’s “blood in the streets” (as the left is promising if they lose the midterms) It will be they who start the new Civil War.
But as I’ve always said: they might start the war – but patriots will finish it.
