It goes without saying that liberalism is a severe and stubborn mental disorder punctuated by fits, tantrums, blaming others for their stupidity, fingers in the ears, and lots of “La-la-la I can’t hear you!”
But last week, and continuing on into this week, the sane and civilized world (i.e., people paying attention/conservatives) really had to give a collective slow clap to the effects of disastrous liberal policies on display and marvel at the Left’s ability to either ignore, compartmentalize, or somehow blame Republicans for their abject failures.
Incident #1: The Iran Nuclear Deal
Surely nothing says more about the liberal psyche than a) brokering a nuclear arms deal with a genocidal, terrorist and terrorist-funding, Islamist regime and b) denying that the deal is a breathtaking disaster.
For some insane reason, your president (not mine; I impeached Obama around the time of Fast and Furious) decided that his foreign policy legacy (Coddling Tyrants, Terrorists, and Dictators) would by and large rest on striking a nuclear deal with Iran. Never mind that Iran for decades, and to this day, has vowed to wipe Israel (Little Satan) and America (Big Satan) off the map should they ever procure such a weapon. Never mind that the Islamist wackjobs running that country screamed at Secretary of State John Kerry (who served in Vietnam, don’t forget) during a meeting and that everything we SHOULD have gotten in exchange for said deal never happened.
On what exactly did the Obama administration capitulate? Let’s see. Our hostages won’t be released. Iran gets 24 days—not hours, DAYS—notice for inspectors (not American or Israeli) to check out their nuclear sites. Iran doesn’t have to relinquish any ICBMs aimed at Big Satan or Europe. Iran doesn’t have to renounce terror or stop funding terror. Iran can use any of the $150 billion Big Satan gave them to funnel to Islamic terrorist barbarians. There will be NO inspections on Iranian military sites. All sanctions will be removed immediately. There will be no placing of sanctions back on Iran.
So what was so great about these mammoth capitulations that justify this horrendous deal to Democrats? Cue the whining screech: “Well, what is your ALTERNATIVE, you eeeevil racist conservatives?” Here’s an alternative, you dolts: support and assist Israel in its quest to wipe out Iranian nuclear facilities. Oh, and sanction these barbarians back to the 7th century where so many of their people and leaders seem to want to live. If that doesn’t strike their fancy, walk away and never look back.
Try that.
Incident #2: The Planned Parenthood Harvesting Baby Parts Debacle
Planned Parenthood is an evil, deceptive, Satanic organization that should be defunded immediately. Absolutely NO taxpayer money should go to fund that eugenics-promoting demon Margaret Sanger’s organization.
Ah, but Planned Parenthood is one of the Left’s chosen Holy Grails, so what happened last week and this week (and presumably more is coming) is particularly illuminating as to the Left’s mindset.
The Center for Medical Progress has released two videos, both showing “doctors” freely discussing how to murder unborn children so as to preserve their organs in order to harvest and sell them to biomedical firms. Freely discussing how they seek to make abortions “less crunchy” in order to make sure hearts, lungs, liver, muscles, brains, skulls and other profitable baby parts remained intact in order to sell them to the highest bidder. The footage was so grotesque, so vile, and so inhumane it sparked an immediate call by Congress and state legislatures to investigate the practices of this “health” organization and for Planned Parenthood to be defunded nationally and on a state-by-state basis.
The Left’s response? It was manifold and hilariously frightening. Their first instinct was to simply ignore it. Do you think Obama’s spokesMarxist Josh Earnest made a comment on the brutality? Of course not, because neither of the abortionists was presumably wearing a Confederate flag shirt, lapel pin, or trucker hat.
The corrupt media by and large ignored it—at first. By day two, the spin was that the footage was fake and/or doctored. When the footage was shown in its entirety, they jumped to the rationale that the footage just proved what a noble organization Planned Parenthood his to try to further medical progress and cures for such ailments as cancer and Alzheimer’s (although proof of such progress has yet to be submitted). Oh–and the coup de grace? Planned Parenthood’s fearless leader Cecile Richards apologized for the “tone” of the doctor in the video–because her descriptions of mutilating children while chomping a salad were just too, too much I suppose.
The sheer inhumanity of the videos’ descriptions of dismembering unborn babies and selling them to the highest bidder should’ve brought Obama back in early from his golf game to comment, but it did not. Remember: this is the same man, who, as an Illinois state senator, voted AGAINST the Born Alive Act—which would have saved babies who had the temerity to survive an abortion. Obama’s contention was that the doctor in question should be able to finish the job and kill the baby who had just been born. Evidently “the audacity of hope” does not apply to babies simply trying to survive nine months in the womb.
Chew on that one.
Incident #3: Kathryn Steinle and the Sanctuary City Mess
When Kathryn Steinle was murdered by some dirtbag Mexican illegal alien who had been deported five times and who had committed at least seven felonies, who resided in San Francisco because, in his words, it was a “sanctuary city” (where illegal aliens can roam free and do all the raping, murdering, robbing, assaulting, driving under the influence, and various other crimes that Americans just won’t do), Obama’s Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson was asked for a comment about the Steinle case. In front of a Senate committee investigating the nefarious sanctuary city policy, Johnson replied, “Who?”
Incredibly, this man, whose boss gives the imprimatur of approval for millions of illegal aliens (many of them criminals) to continue to swarm our country, claimed not to know anything about the murder of Kate Steinle.
This is the same administration that, on the one hand, seeks to punish states like Arizona who actually want to follow federal immigration law, and on the other hand, have no problem with local communities declaring themselves “sanctuary cities” so all those poor, downtrodden, misunderstood illegal aliens can live freely and nourish themselves on taxpayer largesse.
The Democrat response? CRICKETS. I guess since Kate wasn’t a thug assaulting cops or citizens she didn’t warrant a “If I had a son” comment from Barack Obama.
Donald Trump—1. Obama—0.
#4 Another Terrorist Attack from a Member of the Religion of Peace
In Chattanooga, Tennessee, an armed, radical Muslim opened fire on two military recruiting facilities, killing four Marines and one sailor. Their names are: Thomas J. Sullivan, Skip Wells, David Wyatt, Carson Holmquist, and Randall Smith.
The cockroach who murdered them in the name of Islam was named Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, and thankfully he was quickly dispatched to his 72 virgins by the Chattanooga Police Department.
Obama gave a perfunctory “Our thoughts are with their families after this tragic event” statement, but even into this new week his Islamist-asskissing administration still will not utter the words “Islamic terrorism and an Islamic terrorist is what caused the tragedy in Chattanooga.” Furthermore, the Obama administration refused to lower the flag on the White House lawn to half-staff, as many government buildings have done.
Both Josh Earnest and Obama said they were still looking into the “motivations” for what happened. The corrupt media has bent over backwards to blame depression or drugs.
How about this for a motivator? Say it with me: ISLAM.
So yes, it quite the Week That Was to be a Democrat shill. The good news for liberals in power is that a sizable chunk of this country still has no idea what is going on around them on a daily basis—or continues to get their “news” from super-reputable places like Yahoo, the Huffington Post, or the Daily Show. It takes a lot of denial, justification, smugness, drug use, numbskullery, and dumbassery to be a liberal.
