If you have not watched the highly troubling documentary about the collapse of Elizabeth Holmes and her company Theranos, streaming on HBO, do it now.
Indeed: The Big Lies of Theranos and the Deep State are connected in ways large and small.
Her story starts out as many revolutionary stories do. Holmes, a notably precocious and brilliant student at Stanford University, had an idea. What if you could get any blood test done, in the privacy of your own home, using only a small capsule of blood? What if you could get these tests without opening up a vein to take that blood? What if a consumer could have access to hundreds of medical tests with a simple pin prick of their finger? What if you could do it in a radically cost-effective way?
Revolutionary, indeed.
She and others compared herself to Steve Jobs, who, naturally, was Holmes’ idol.
Without going into too much detail, because you should watch the documentary, Holmes started out on her road on The Big Lie with the best of intentions.
Along the way, she collected many powerful and influential people – almost all exclusively left-wing Democrats. She was insulated and protected by the Obama administration (including Barack Obama and Joe Biden), Hillary Clinton and her staff, and members of the liberal media. (To be fair, there were also some Deep State-type Republicans who supported her – but eventually saw the error of their ways.)
Holmes’ story reminds me that The Big Lie, whether in your personal life or on a grand scale like Theranos, is always discovered. The truth will always be revealed.
Like Obama promising Americans no less than 100 times that Obamacare was going to revolutionize healthcare in only positive ways, when the reverse was true, Elizabeth Holmes sold her big lie in order to get rich and to continue acting under the adage of “the end justifies the means.”
The modern Democrat party and the Deep State do the exact same thing.
They believe in the power of big government and micromanaging individuals’ lives. They believe that there should only be a few people who have power and control – and that certainly, individuals cannot be trusted to manage their own lives. They believe that, because THEIR worldview and tactics are moral and just, their ends justify any means.
The Big Lie is seen in all manner of social engineering.
The Big Lie manifested itself for two years under the fraud and outright corruption of the Robert Mueller investigation into fake Russian collusion involving Donald Trump.
Attorney General William Barr has now appointed a top prosecutor in the Justice Department to get to the bottom of how and why this massive lie was concocted in the first place.
(Spoiler alert: it was begun to cover up, among other things, Hillary Clinton’s email saga and her trafficking in classified material on her private server, Uranium One pay-to-play, Citizen Trump exposing Obama’s birth certificate, and the fact Clinton lost the 2016 election. Understand that ALL of these scandals implicate Barack Obama, for whom Democrats and the media will do anything to protect.
Instead of taking their lumps after they’ve been exposed, the members of the Deep State are doubling down on The Big Lie.
Holmes initially didn’t hide her tail between her legs. She made it her mission to save Theranos no matter how big of a lie she had to invent. She lied about the efficacy of her lab tests, the costs associated with them, and the technology actually used to get those results. It was just those evil right-wingers at The Wall Street Journal who were trying to destroy her vision. She was surrounded by liberal elites, and therefore conservatives wanted to completely demolish her. Certainly, this the subtext of her many declarations of good intent and sound technology.
But unlike Holmes, who lost nearly nine billion dollars of investors’ money and is currently facing two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and nine counts of wire fraud, members of the Deep State continue to circle the wagons around each other.
Does this remind anyone of anything?
We all know (well, those of us paying attention) what Attorney General Barr is getting ready to unleash upon liberals and their lapdog media. We all know about the origins of the Steele Dossier, to whom it was leaked and for what purpose, and the bad actors promoting the multi-layered conspiracy of protecting Obama, electing Clinton, and ruining Trump.
Conservatives have known all of this for over two years. But people who only consume left-wing sources – not even understanding they ARE left-wing sources – will never get the full picture. They will be dragged kicking and screaming to finally realize the truth. They will continue to promote people like James Comey and Hillary Clinton, who are up to their eyeballs in this coup d’état, as truthful “super patriots.” People like John Brennan, arguably one of the major orchestrators of the entire coup, still has a job on MSNBC. Barack Obama is still worshiped and adored by the uniformed masses.
The Big Lie – when you commit to it – must be protected at all costs. The media knows this, and they have bought into it. Democrats know it. They are doing everything in their power to stop the exposure and the ruination they know is coming. And finally, the lemmings who consume their brand of stupidity will stubbornly refuse to believe facts which are right in front of their noses.
Elizabeth Holmes may have had a great idea, and perhaps one day in the future her technology she invented in her head will prove fruitful in actuality.
But when she went down the road of The Big Lie and protecting The Big Lie over everything else, her deception and downfall exponentially multiplied.
The Obama administration, lawyers like David Bois, media giants, and leftists everywhere ALL circled her wagon.
And in a way, you can understand it. The ideas liberals come up with are totally unworkable. They are impossible dreams. Free healthcare. Socialism. Universal, guaranteed income. Slavery reparations. Free college.
All of their utopias, in actuality, are disastrous failures.
Maybe one day pigs will fly. And then maybe one day, liberals will get off train of The Big Lie and join the rest of us in reality.
We are all the little boy in the “The Emperor’s New Clothes” – pointing a finger at the naked emperor saying: “But…he’s naked! He isn’t wearing any clothes at all!”
Yeah, pigs will probably fly first.
