This marks the fourth week in a row I am writing about the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanagh –excuse me: Supreme Court Associate Justice Kavanaugh.
I am gratified to see that his story – at least for now — has a happy ending.
The nation watched as left-wing goons tried to intimidate senators into voting “no” because we should #BelieveWomen and #BelieveSurvivors. However, the same leftist goons could not explain to any of us just exactly why Christine Blasey Ford should have been believed, and how exactly she was a victim of anything. The same goes for Deborah Ramirez (she of the dildo-in-the-face-at-Yale absurdity) and the certifiably crazy/and or publicity-starved Julie Swetnick (with her ludicrous gang rape accusations, aided and abetted by Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti).
In fact, President Trump nailed Ford’s coffin shut at a rally in Mississippi when he correctly and simply summarized her lies and inconsistencies. Of course, the media and the RINOs clutched their pearls, but President Trump turned the tide in favor of Brett Kavanagh, common sense, and the presumption of innocence.
When Brett Kavanaugh’s SEVENTH FBI report (demanded by Sen. Jeff Flake, squishy Republicans and all Democrats) dropped, it was proven once again that Ford and her babyvoice testimony was completely uncorroborated.
As in: the witnesses Ford provided DID NOT CONFIRM ANYTHING SHE SAID. Even her best friend Leland Keyser totally denied her claims.
In fact, it has now come to light that Keyser was pressured to change her sworn testimony by none other than Monica McClean—a friend of Ford’s who just *happened* to be the same former FBI agent Ford bragged to an ex-boyfriend about helping fool a lie detector. (Which Ford then lied about under oath, and which 99% of the media has ignored.)
Ramirez was also proven false. And, of course, publicity hound liar Swetnick didn’t pass the “credible accusation” test, so the FBI didn’t spend their valuable resources investigating a crackpot.
None of these facts and revelations stopped the unhinged left from completely melting down. They have made the leap that if anyone voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, they naturally must hate women and hate survivors of sexual assault. Again – survivors of what sexual assault? In America, the presumption of innocence is a bedrock tenant of our justice system. Democrats certainly enjoy it. Republicans–not so much.
George Soros and various and sundry leftist groups provided payment, professionally printed signs, and transportation for the mob to harass senators and even threaten their lives. One of the professionally printed signs actually read “BRETT KAVANAUGH IS AN ANGRY VIOLENT DRUNK.” (I have googled the hell out of that phrase and could not find a picture of it. I assure you it existed, because I saw it live. Wish I had captured it.) Can you imagine something like that (and the other positively crazy and untrue signs shoved in everyone’s faces) being said about a precious Democrat? Of course not.
Brett Kavanagh and all normal people do not excuse sexual violence against anybody. But Christine Ford – if anything happened to her at all – could not verify that it was Brett Kavanagh and his merry band of Devil’s Triangle drinking game aficionados who groped her. NOTHING SHE SAID WAS VERIFIED.
Because of this—and the subsequent leftist hysteria following the release of the seventh FBI report—I can only conclude that the left is so hungry for power they will do literally anything to secure it. If that means destroying an innocent person and his family, so be it.
Democrats know damn good and well if they lose the courts, they’ve lost their sole mechanism for shoving their leftist, social engineering schemes down the throats of the American people. They cannot get anything (absent the disaster of Obamacare) passed legislatively.
President Trump has had many accomplishments so far. We are sitting at 3.7% unemployment– the lowest unemployment rate since 1969. Black, Hispanic, and female unemployment are at an all-time low. Manufacturing is booming. Our Israeli embassy has been moved to Jerusalem. The border wall is slowly but surely getting built. We are rapidly becoming energy independent. Violent illegal aliens are being deported, and we are finally cracking down on ALL illegal immigration. Overall consumer confidence and belief in American exceptionalism is at an all-time high.
This good news, of course, is devastating for liberals. They have no agenda except “Hate Trump.” Therefore, they make up stories about a good and decent man and applaud themselves for destroying his life. The Hollywood left is as violent and unhinged as usual. So are the media, academia, and every leftist institution. They do not care that Kavanagh didn’t do anything wrong. No. They want power at all costs.
However, one of President Trump’s greatest accomplishments so far is his ability to smoke out liberals from the little communist closets in which they reside. There is really nothing like a President Trump speech to get the frothing troglodytes to make death threats against Trump and call for assassination of conservatives.
Left-wing activists marched, screamed, threw tantrums in the Senate gallery, banged on the doors of the Supreme Court—all in an effort to #CancelKavanaugh.
But in less than a month, Normal America will have the chance to #CancelDemocrats in the midterm elections. Democrats want to believe that conservatives will forget they did to Justice Kavanaugh by election day.
I think they have once again overstepped and do not count on the long memory of the American people.
Watching Brett Kavanagh take the oath of office Monday night as the newest Associate Justice of the Supreme Court was very gratifying. It was heartening to see his wife Ashley standing with her husband and his young daughters Margaret and Liza standing with their father in victory.
This time, the good guys won.
As Barack Obama once correctly said: “Elections have consequences.” Just because the left thinks they are entitled to forever power, doesn’t mean they get to threaten, bully, intimidate, physically harm, or make threats against conservatives or our nominees. The party who won the presidency gets to nominate judges to fill up various courts, and the Senate confirms them. That’s how it always has been—until leftists tried to change the rules.
It’s becoming increasingly clear how unhinged the left has become. Normal America is watching. As I warned last week: first they came for Kavanagh – then they’ll come for you.
Stand up and fight back—or get run over every time.
