This did not come from a Republican or Conservative site.
It just presents a good message that virtually no one can or should disagree with.
However, can you imagine if I made this speech and not an African American?
Who wants to bet we would have heard cries of racism, bigotry, prejudice, etc???
My favorite line is the last line…”We are trapped by our own understanding of ourselves.”
It may not be a line that is clear on its own, but once you see the video, you will understand what he means.
We can’t hate people that succeed, nor oppress people who are down. It creates a catch-22 of no place to go and be proud…hence the self-loathing, depression, and fragile psyche’s that currently plague the American culture.
