The late, great jurist Robert Bork – who was royally screwed by rabid liberals out of a seat on the Supreme Court (hence the term “Borked”) – wrote a fantastic tome on our declining society called “Slouching Towards Gomorrah.” Read it. Trust me.
I think it’s safe to say we are no longer “slouching” towards anything – we are in a full-blown sprint towards our cultural demise.
One of the last normal Democrats, now deceased Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynahan of New York, once said that what modern culture is engaging in is “defining deviancy down.” In the 1980s, he predicted it was going to get worse. And boy, was he ever right.

Last week we saw the culmination of the three-week-long FAKE figurative lynching of “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett and the REAL figurative lynching of Trump supporters.
Our characters were drug through the mud. We were called the most horrible names by the corrupt, fake news media who hate us simply for supporting the ideas President Trump supports — but what’s new?
When Jussie Smollett was arrested and charged with filing a false police report (real talk: he should’ve been charged with filing a fake hate crime report) I was pleased to see that justice would finally be done for this charlatan.
Yes – in theory. In a normal world, Smollett would get what is coming to him.
But that’s not what’s happening. Suddenly, leftists are all screaming about due process and a presumption of innocence. Did they give due process and presumption of innocence to Brett Kavanaugh or Donald Trump? You know the answer to that. Of course not. It’s off with their heads!
Remarkably (but not really), CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and other leftists are now blaming President Trump for Smollett’s actions!
They blame him for the fact that Smollett decided to hire two Nigerian brothers in MAGA hats to rough him up, pour a little bleach on him, and put a carefully constructed noose around his neck. Said noose was purchased from Ace Hardware with money Smollett had given the brothers. He also paid them $3500 by check, which is a nice touch. It proves this arrogant jackhole didn’t think he was going to get caught – and certainly not held accountable by the media.
Smollett “allegedly” did all these things — yet Smollett STILL has a job on a network television show and liberal activists circling the wagons for him as we speak. Contrast that with Roseanne Barr, whose non-PC tweet about Obama ghoul Valerie Jarrett COST her a network television show.
It just made me realize Democrats will do anything — and I mean anything — to retain power.
On Twitter, a fellow patriot named Kimberly MAGA Mom (@KimberlyMrsRR1) had a fantastic summation of our current culture of “defining deviancy down.”
She brought attention to a story that most likely slipped by almost everyone. In California, Democrats introduced legislation that would protect sex criminals if they were LGBTQ and within ten years of the alleged victim.
Wrap your brain around that.
They wouldn’t be charged.
They would not have to register on the national sex offender registry.
In fact, nothing at all would happen to them if they were LGBTQ and their victim was eight years old when the perpetrator was 18. That’s what the bill says.
LGBTQ are now an EXTRA protected class!
Her point is, and she’s right, that liberals are slowly boiling all of us frogs in the water (instead of suddenly throwing us frogs in the boiling water) to get us used to things like sanctuary cities, infanticide, dismemberment abortion, and the radical LGBTQ agenda.
Progressive Democrats are the authors of all of these deviancies.
Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin knew that you have to snatch children while they’re young in order to propagandize them for life. Read the Communist Manifesto – it’s basically a blueprint for the modern Democrat party.
And now, popping up in several cities across America, public libraries are now hosting Drag Queen Story Hour – for children. In fact, it’s required you bring a child if you attend Drag Queen Story Hour. This is not a cheeky play on “story hour” for adults only – no. They want you to bring your children and watch drag queens read to them.
I don’t have anything against drag queens. I don’t care what adults do. But what the hell is it about leftists who think they need to shove their radical agenda 24-hours-a-day down the throats of children? Of course, if you look to the Communist Manifesto – there’s your answer.
I sincerely pray that enough people are paying attention to the outrages of Jussie Smollett, Covington Catholic, Brett Kavanaugh, the Drag Queen Story Hour, the insipidly #woke Oscars, and anything else the left force-feeds us and portrays as “normal” behavior.
